To expedite wound healing, we have a full-time VOHRA-certified wound care nurse and consulting physician leading our wound team.<\/h4>\n<h3>Our advanced Clinical Services include:<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"two-columns\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/canterburyrehab.com\/subacute-rehab\/\"><strong>Post-Operative Subacute Care<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Post-surgical rehabilitation is recommended by your physician, based on your medical needs.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>24\/7 Skilled Nursing<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Physical Therapy<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>The goal of physical therapy is to reduce pain and inflammation, speed up healing, and strengthen muscles. Physical therapy is often prescribed after surgery. At Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center the goal of therapy is to improve the patient\u2019s function and strength so that they are able to return home to a level of independence.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Occupational Therapy<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>The purpose of occupational therapy is to assist the patient in improving or the ability to perform daily activities. Occupational therapists use different treatment methods including stretching and strengthening exercises, practice of daily activities.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Speech Therapy<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Speech therapy deals with a person\u2019s ability to communicate. Speech therapy is often prescribed after a stroke or for someone with progressive neurological conditions such as dementia.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Orthopedic Rehabilitation<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>A therapeutic approach designed to ease recovery, correct musculoskeletal limitations, and reduce pain from trauma, illness, or surgery.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/canterburyrehab.com\/pulmonary-care\/\"><strong>Pulmonary Care<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<em>At Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Pulmonary Care has the expertise, knowledge, and compassion to help you overcome conditions that affect the lungs and airways.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Wound Care<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Wound care and treatment are&nbsp;an important process to avoid serious complications. Without proper care by a wound care specialist, a wound can turn into serious infections.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dementia Care<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Stroke Recovery<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Stroke rehabilitation is an important part of recovery after a stroke.
